Shortly after graduating from the Jazz program at Humber College, Jon was hired with the 'Toronto Catholic School Board' from 09/88 - 06/98. During that time, Jon taught 'Instrumental Music'. After graduating from York University Teacher Ed program in 2001,Jon was employed for 5 years with the York Region District School Board and then worked for the last 7 years for the Alum Rock School District in San Jose, California.
Jon Roblin is an accomplished song writer,musician,and arranger. He has written several Band arrangements performed by the Toronto Signals, the Kiwarthas Kaviliers,and theToronto Optimist Drum Corps. He has written choir and litergy music for Churches, the theme song for Toronto Montessori Schools, the 'Evangel Live' theme and Cruise Ship Show band Orchestra Music. He composed, arranged,recorded and produced music for 'Loyalty Band'. The first CD, was recorded in the spring of 2009 at the Annex in Menlo Park California,while the second CD,titled "Prince of Life"was recorded in Toronto in Dec. 2010.
